Mercury and Pre-Cambrian Earth - before and after.

The 4,800 km diameter of my original shield reassembly is the same as the diameter of Mercury.

Mercury has only a very weak magnetic field, no moon, no atmosphere, save a thin film of hydrogen and helium, and has no surface evidence of tectonic activity or interior convection currents ( see 'Magnetic Mirror').

This leads me to regard Mercury as an Earth in its pre-cambrian state, waiting for the impact of the object of iron large enough to break its shell , magnetise it, throw out its moon, enter its interior, start its convection currents and tectonic activity, release volcanic gases into its film of helium and hydrogen to begin to build its atmosphere, and start to push out its Pacific Ocean in the same pattern as the tectonic activity of this Earth, and Mars. Its place as the innermost planet of the solar-system is in keeping with the timeline and outward trajectory concept.

Mercury will be the ninth Earth ( Venus will become the eighth Earth. The Venus section is currently under construction )
